The detached offices were built in the
summer of 2002. The following pictures are a "piece of
history" and show the old big monitors in use at the
time.
Initially an ISDN line was installed to provide phone and 24
hour internet access, which was later enhanced by a high
power wireless network bringing ADSL internet services 4
miles from the local town.
BT eventually enabled
our local rural exchange for Broadband, but only at less
than 1mb.
Sadly as at 2016 BT
have still not upgraded our exchange and internet speeds
as still below 2mb. The disadvantages of being
based in rural England !
